Group Hold Family Barbeque and AGM
On Sunday 8th June the Group (in conjunction with the Pirates Explorers) held their Annual General meeting in St. Swithun's Church Hall. it was good to see such a good attendance. The AGM was followed by a barbeque and the presentation of various awards and certificates. A special mention to Explorer Scout John Murphy who received the Chief Scout's Platinum Award and the Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award. Also congratulations to Dawn Wright who received a 5 years service award and to Mike Wright and Richard Smith who both received their 15 years service awards.

Group Attend First City of Portsmouth Camp
Over the weekend of 2nd to the 5th May our Cubs and Scouts, together with the Pirates Explorers, attended the first City Camp at Lyons Copse. On the Sunday the campers were joined by our Beavers who took part in the camp for a day of Scouting activities. Towards the end of the camp scouts Guy Elder and Oliver Bradbury made their Scout Promises and were invested in to the Troop.
